Missionary Caravan
From August 23 to 29, the Canadian Field Missionary and Canvassing Departments visited Calgary for a special Missionary Caravan.
In downtown Calgary, a table was set up with Christian books and magazines, handmade Christian merchandise, and snacks for passersby. A banner and the sound of musicians playing and singing hymns drew people’s attention and opened opportunities to share the gospel.
Throughout the week, many people stopped to talk with our missionaries and church members, and many boxes of books and magazines were distributed. We are especially thankful to the Calgary church members and visitors who participated faithfully each day, even after a long day of work, and to those who provided the equipment and supplies needed for the event.
May God bless everyone who received the literature and help the seeds planted during this event bear fruit. We pray that this outreach will inspire similar missionary efforts in many more communities across Canada.
