Good Samaritan Walkathon 2025
Step by step, under sunny skies, The Good Samaritan 2025 Walkathon came to life as participants of all ages joined together across many regions for a day of movement, fellowship, and shared meals. We are happy that the Youth Department was able to support this meaningful event. Thank you to everyone who walked, supported, and contributed! – The Youth Department
The Youth Messenger
The Young Messenger is published quarterly as the official publication of the International Missionary Society, Seventh-day Adventist Church Reform Movement, Canadian Field Youth Department.
Courageous Hearts
Courageous Hearts is a new initiative carried out by the Canadian Field Youth Department and consists in a series of online meetings for women only. Its purpose is to encourage young women to get together and discuss about topics that are relevant for women in the church. So far, it has been very inspiring since we have learned about the true womanhood which the Bible talks about and we have also learned about the characteristics of a woman of God, through the study of important female figures in the Scriptures.
When We meet
We meet once a month on the 2nd or 3rd Sunday of every month at 6pm EST over zoom.

Men of Valour
Men of Valour is a program we have started to be a guide for young or older youth in the church who might have some questions about their roles as a man in their community and/ or in the church. The mission or goal with this program is to help us get closer together and become more of a family, to help youth answer questions they might have on topics like marriage or career and they might be shy or scared to ask others around them. I think young men should join because they are able to express themselves a little more freely. I know a lot of times we hold back on how we really feel because we don’t want to be judged or looked at differently, so we don’t express ourselves how we really want to but with this program everyone is there to be a friend who you can call on for anything and ask any questions you might be struggling with as a man.

We meet once a month on the 2nd Sunday at 630pm EST over zoom.

Early Morning Devotionals
The Early Bird Morning Devotional program is designed to help you begin your day with God through prayer, reflection, and song, setting a spiritual foundation before you head off to work, school, or and to your daily responsibilities. The purpose is for individuals to renew their spiritual connection with God each morning by meditating on and relfect on His words. We hope that the messages shared will be a blessing unto them and serve as a meaningful reminder throughout the week. I learned about encouragement which comes from God by seeking His guidance and trusting His words in all circumstances of our lives. In God we find strength, hope and courage because of His faithfulness. I also learned how it’s important to reflect on Christ because He is our foundation of our faith and our perfect example of how to live. When we take the time to reflect on His life and His teachings, our minds and hearts will be transformed.
When We Meet
We meet at 7am EST on select weekday every few months over zoom.

Where will I get the answer?
We will answer your questions at the Friday Zoom meeting. Special seminars will be held for questions that require time or are asked frequently. Also, the answers will be published through our official magazine, “The Young Messenger,” in case you miss our online meeting.
