Youth Day
One of the challenges that the Canadian Field Youth have is being together all at once. Same place. Same church. Same time zone even!
Did you know that the Granby church and the Calgary church are approx 3,696 kms from each other. That’s a full day of non stop driving or about a 5-6 hour flight!
In a perfect world, the youth of the field would be able to see each other every day however in a country as big as Canada, it just isn’t possible.
Even though this is the case, the Canadian Field Youth Department wanted to bring the Youth together on October 3rd for a special program. Under the theme – Running to Win the Prize – Youth Day was a day for youth to learn about the same message, and idea no matter where they were! The best part? Youth led the whole thing! From the Sabbath School, to the afternoon program, Youth Day was a chance for Youth to show their gifts and talents.
