Walkathon 2026: Calgary
The Calgary Church members gathered to support Walkathon 2026, a campaign organized by the Canadian Field Good Samaritan Department.
Although the day was met with heavy rain, preventing participants from completing the walk as planned, the members still came together in support of the cause. They renewed their commitment to faithful Christian stewardship, recognizing that offerings can be used to bless those in need and advance God’s work.
The Calgary Good Samaritan Department has remained active in community outreach. Apart from the Walkathon, members collected food donations to be distributed to individuals and families in need, demonstrating Christ’s love through practical service.
Walkathon 2026 is being held in various locations across Canada. Those in the Toronto area are warmly invited to join the upcoming event at James Gardens (99 Edenbridge Drive, Etobicoke, ON) on Sunday, July 19, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. We encourage everyone who is able to participate in this meaningful ministry of compassion and service.
